Let’s go on a little trip in Copenhagen. If you are staying in the Gothenburg/Göteborg you can take Swebus to go there. It takes around 5-hours to Kopenhagen.
#1 City center
The city center is really nice even if you arrive on a rainy and windy day (like me). But if you are lucky the city will transform under the sun. There is also a lot of museums in the city so you can hide while it rain. I recommend the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek.
#2 Rosenborg castle
You can’t go in the danish capital without going to the Rosenborg castle. Rosenborg Castle was built in the early 17th century and you can see in the vaults the crowns of the Danish kings and queens. More information on visit Copenhagen.
#3 Round tower
The Round tower (360° view of the city) is another nice things to do if you are looking shelter from the rain (it cost 25.00 DKK for adults, moe information here). The weather was much nicer in the morning than in the late afternoon we had rain again.
#4 The little mermaid
You can’t say you went to Copenhagen without seeing the famous little mermaid statue. The little mermaid is a symbol of the city just as much as the colored houses in the port. You can be surprised by the size of the statue.
I hope you will enjoy the architecture of the buildings, the combination of colours on the roofs and the atmosphere. Good job Copenhagen!
