#5 Kinkaku-ji Temple
The Kinkaku-ji Temple is also known as the golden pavillon, it’s located in the north of Kyoto and is accessible by bus. This famous temple is one of the most visited bouddhist temple in Kyoto (Kansai area). If you come wearing a yukata or a kimono during the sping season you can have a free entrance.
#6 Bamboo forest
The bamboo forest is based in the Sara-Arashiyama neighbourhood. The village is really accessible and full of shops. You can enjoy traditional food and handcrafts. Try out the ice shaving dessert with syrup on it. Enjoy a walk through the bamboo’s shadows and the smell of flowers under the sun.
#7 Fushimi Inari Shrine
The Fushimi Inari Shrine is located in the south of Kyoto and is a orange gates path in the forest. If you want to go there just be sure to wear really good shoes and have some time ahead if you want to walk to the top (two or three hours). There are some shops (you can buy kimonos/yukata) and restaurants midway. Enjoy a walk in the forest through the orange gates.
